CRM2.  This combination of letters and numbers is getting a lot of talk time in the financial world right now.

CRM2 = Client Relationship Model Phase 2 and it is new regulatory initiative that will be phased in over the next few years.  It provides you the investor with a new level of transparency on the reporting of fees and performance by their financial services providers.

What does this mean for investors?  It means they will start to see more use of plain language and clearer, timelier presentation of information.

What does this mean for advisors?  It means revising their some of their sales processes and communication with their clients.

We view CRM2 as an opportunity to strengthen our client relationships.  Clients will gain a better understanding of our services and the value they add in the long term.
